Early anomaly scan of 16-17 weeks

It is possible to perform an early anomaly scan of your baby from 16 weeks. Baby's, face, Brain, spine, limbs, kidneys heart are seen to rule out major abnormalities such as spina- bifida. Measurements are taken to ensure baby is growing normally within the womb and position of placenta is noted.
Baby's movements are clearly seen on scan although you may have not felt any quickening as yet.

It will help to detect:

  • Confirm Dates
  • Show you the heart beat
  • Confirm normal growth
  • Look for major structural abnormalities
  • Confirm gender
  • Give you images of your Baby
